Final Dawn by John Hagee

Reading "Final Dawn" by John Hagee, will cure forever any anti-Semitic sediments within the church. It will put to rest any false notions of teachers and preachers who tend to favor the teaching that the church replaces Israel. If I was in doubt about Israel's importance in the eyes of God before reading this, I now have not the slightest doubt of God's plan for Israel and that He has not cast away His people as some suppose. Yes, indeed as brother Hagee points out many times throughout his book, Israel is still God's chosen people and that a true Christian would love not hate the Jewish people.

It is apparent that John Hagee has done much research before writing this book. He lays bare the lies, rumors and misconceptions that many societies and even some of our church fathers has falsely believed and taught about the Jewish people. Yet, I will point out here for those who believe the bible as the final and authoritative Word of God, that the scriptures back his teachings brought out in this book, at least according to my understanding of them.

The horrors of the Holocaust have haunted many others and me for years. I always wondered. Why? How can modern, educated, and knowledgeable civilized human beings allow such a thing to happen in this very century? Those questions and more were finally answered in "Final Dawn". I understand why Hitler was able to dupe all those people into carrying out his plans to exterminate millions of men, woman and children. Its hard to fathom but now I can actually see how it can happen.

The main purpose of this book seems to be to free us at last from the false teaching that the New Testament church is the "New Israel" and to free us from hating and trying to cast aside God's still chosen people, Israel.

I would recommend this book to any and all people to read as soon as possible.
